I had the privilege of experiencing Sedona in October, as the fall colors had started to show. This trip was with Patricia Perigo, Scott Farence, and Miguel Sal. All were very experienced professional photographers, so this was definitely a learning trip for me.
The focus of this shoot was exploring scale, light, and depth using both wide landscapes and tighter compositions to highlight the contrast between vast canyon views and smaller, human-made elements. Throughout the trip, I experimented with natural lighting, atmospheric haze, and color variations to create a range of tones, from warm desert hues to cooler, distant layers. This experience strengthened my ability to shoot in dynamic outdoor environments while refining my eye for composition and storytelling through landscape photography.
